To qualify, a patient needs to be diagnosed by a Connecticut-licensed physician as having one of the qualifying debilitating medical conditions that is specifically identified in the law
Connecticut Medical Marijuana
Our physician specializes in certifying eligible patients for medical marijuana. A patient may only register for a medical marijuana certificate if he or she is a Connecticut resident being treated for a debilitating medical condition by a Connecticut-licensed physician. Qualifying patient must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Our physician will discuss available options with you that meet your individual medical marijuana needs.

After You Qualify
Once our physician has certified you for the use of marijuana, the department of consumer protection will seek additional information and documents from you demonstrating, among other things, your identity and residency to determine whether you are qualified under the statute to register with the department. Once the department receives the required information, They will make a determination as to whether you are eligible for a registration certificate and, if so, one will be sent to you.

Patel completed her Neurology training at University of Connecticut, and was awarded a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the prestigious New York University with extensive training in interventional procedures. Dr. Patel has also completed extensive training in management of headaches and migraines from Columbia University. Dr. Patel is triple board certified in Neurology, Brain Injury Medicine and Pain Medicine and board eligible in Headache Medicine.
